Born and raised in Houston Texas, Mike cut his teeth building old school hot rods, and soon moved into the truck scene in the early 90’s. In the late 90’s, Mike moved to Maui, where he started his company Xzibit Wheels, and The Car Masseuse. While on Maui, he built low rider trucks, that were featured in several magazines. He also threw one the of Islands largest car shows, Hawaiian Isle Auto Fest.
He has always had a passion for motorcycles, and has created unique and innovative designs along the way. In December of 2007, he moved back to the mainland, and began working at a local Victory Motorcycle dealer. He was intrigued with the Victory Vision. The smooth lines and sleek styling caught his eye.
With some great advice from world renowned bike builder Arlen Ness, Mike began his journey to customize a bike that was to be considered “outside the box”.
As the build began, Mike found that not a lot of parts are available for Victory’s.
This was the start of Heavy Metal Designz. Mike has been fabricating and building since his first car in 1980. Nothing could ever be left stock.
